Anyone interested in coaching or helping with a Portage Youth Football team must submit this online application prior to being permitted to work within the league or with any team.

All coaches/volunteers for all teams must also complete the USA Football Youth Certification which is an annual requirement. Coaches/volunteers for grades 7-8 will also need to follow all requirements of the WIAA and the Portage Athletic Department. Different training is required depending on the team you will be coaching. 

All volunteers for Grade 4-6 teams must also request a background check through our background check processor. Volunteers for Grades 7-8 are background checked through the school district. To request a Grade 4-6 background check, click here.
